The EasyGSM/GPRS GM862-GPS board is a handy breakout board for Telit GM862-GPS modems designed to allow for easy interfacing to microcontrollers. The board features a 50-way Molex connector and antenna holder and facilitates easy connections via 2.54mm pitch solder pads.
The board supports Telit GM862-QUAD, GM862-QUAD-PY and GM862-GPS GSM/GPRS modems. These modules combine access to digital communication services in GSM 850, 900, DCS 1800 and PCS1900 MHz networks. GM862 modems provide many features such as voice, circuit switched data transfer, phonebook, SMS, four band GSM capability, hot removal sensing on board SIM Reader, GPRS Class 10 and battery charger circuitry.
