Overview

Easily connect your development board to microSD memory cards. The board is designed to plug onto MikroElektronika's PIC, dsPIC, AVR and 8051 development and prototyping boards, although could also be interfaced to your own circuits and other development boards.

microSD Memory Cards

microSD cards are small removable flash memory cards. They are commonly used in mobile and handheld devices, portable media players and other devices that require mass data storage in small dimensions. These are the smallest memory cards available commercially being about a quarter the size of an SD card.

Features

  • Allows your microcontroller-based projects to read and write to microSD memory cards.
  • Ideal for use in data logging applications.
  • On-board voltage regulator and jumper allows for operation with 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
  • Connects directly to MikroElektronika's PIC, dsPIC, AVR and 8051 development and prototyping boards.
  • Supported by example programs supplied with MikroElektronika's mikroBASIC, mikroC and mikroPascal PRO compilers.
