MMC and SD Memory Cards

SD cards are small removable flash memory cards currently available in sizes up to 4GB. They are commonly used in digital cameras, mobile and handheld computers, portable media players, cellular phones and other devices that require mass data storage in small dimensions. The slightly thinner MMC cards are pin compatible with SD cards and can be read in SD card readers.
