AJ-SR04M V3.0 Waterproof Ultrasonic Distance Sensor

Need to measure distance outdoors, in water tanks or in wet, dusty places where a normal HC-SR04 won't last? The AJ-SR04M has a sealed, waterproof probe on a cable, connected to a separate control board. That makes it a favourite for water level monitors, parking sensors and outdoor robots.

Key Features

• Waterproof, sealed ultrasonic probe on a cable, keeping the electronics away from moisture
• Non-contact distance measurement using 40kHz ultrasonic sound
• Measuring range of roughly 20cm to 600cm, with a minimum blind zone of about 20cm
• Trigger/Echo pins, compatible with standard HC-SR04 code and libraries
• Supports additional output modes, including serial (UART), set on the board
• Works with Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi

Good to Know

• Objects closer than about 20cm fall inside the blind zone and can't be measured accurately.
• Only the probe is waterproof. Keep the control board in a dry enclosure.
• For water tanks, mount the probe pointing straight down at the water surface for best readings.
