The Arduino Pro Mini 3.3V 8MHz is a compact, low-power microcontroller board based on the ATmega328P, running at 3.3V logic with an 8MHz crystal oscillator. This variant is the go-to choice for battery-powered and low-power embedded applications where 3.3V peripherals (e.g. GPS, GSM, NRF24L01, LoRa, SD cards) need to interface directly without level shifting. No USB interface on-board — programming via an external FTDI 3.3V or CP2102 USB-to-Serial adapter.

3.3V vs 5V Variant – Which to Choose?

Programming
Requires a 3.3V FTDI or CP2102 USB-to-Serial adapter — do NOT use a 5V adapter as it will damage the board. In the Arduino IDE, select "Arduino Pro or Pro Mini" → ATmega328P (3.3V, 8MHz).
