Want to know how much water is flowing through a pipe, or how many litres your tank has used? The YF-S201 fits inline on a 1/2 inch pipe. A small turbine inside spins as water passes, and a Hall effect sensor turns each spin into a pulse your Arduino or ESP32 can count.

Key Features

• Hall effect turbine flow sensor with a pulse (digital) output
• 1/2 inch (G1/2) threaded connections on both ends
• Typical flow range of about 1–30 litres per minute
• Works on 5V and above, with a simple 3-wire connection: red (VCC), black (GND), yellow (signal)
• Works with Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32 and other microcontrollers

Good to Know

• Install it in the direction of the arrow printed on the body.
• Count pulses in your code and calibrate against a known volume of water for accurate litre readings.
• Use plumber's tape on the threads to prevent leaks. Suitable for clean water.
